WE ARE YET AGAIN IN THE MIDST OF AN UNCERTAIN ECONOMIC CLIMATE. MANY IT COMPANIES ARE BECOMING CAUTIOUS ABOUT SPENDING, HOWEVER UNNECESSARY CUT BACK ON SPENDING COULD JEOPARDISE GROWTH.
“Companies are becoming more familiar with the uncertain economic climate and they are adapting to it. Life goes on and businesses need to continually grow,” commented Kareem Tawansi, CEO of software development provider, Solentive Software.
“The current economic climate is not a complete meltdown in the economy and as such, business leaders are able to react rationally. However, we are still far from an economic boom, so it would be unwise to be banking on stronger economic conditions in the near future.
“Although a little more cautious in their spending approach, companies will still continue to direct spending towards improving organisational efficiency where a well-conceived, well-planned and well-executed IT project can deliver that,” predicted Kareem.
