We are seeking an experienced Presales Solutions Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients' success. As our Presales Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of our client engagements, working closely with our sales and technical teams to design and present leading-edge solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. 

 

Key Responsibilities:   


  • Understand and champion the evolving technology landscape to provide technical strategy & direction to Solentive staff, key clients, and prospects.

  • Advocate Solentive’s technology capabilities in the market by working in partnership with our Go-to-Market (GTM) team to build Solentive’s position in the market via events, content and thought leadership.

  • Continue to evolve Solentive’s service offerings by suggesting new technologies & services in response to ever changing market needs and technology trends. 

  • Accountability & execution of end-to-end presales from discovery through to estimation, proposal, and design.

  • Engage with & excite prospective client’s business and technical representatives (including C-Suite) to understand the business strategy, commercial, functional, and technical objectives, and propose & present forward-thinking technology recommendations.

  • Provide accurate estimates and handover of presales activities to delivery teams for implementation.

  • Work with Solentive’s sales team to create presentations and manage technical objections from prospects.

  • Build strategic relationships with key technical partners including Microsoft.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients at all levels through confident, clear, and concise communication.

  • Work with Solentive’s delivery team to design, document & oversee Solution Architectures that are innovative, fit-for-purpose and leverage combinations of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, low-code, and custom software.

About You

Essential Skills: 


  • You possess a strong ability to assess client’s technology requirements and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.

  • You hold creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills to design innovative solutions across industries and budgets.

  • You have proven experience in accurately estimating solutions and delivering within scope, timeframes, and budgets.

  • You are known for your excellent communication skills and can engage both clients and technical teams at all levels.

  • You possess a collaborative mindset, working closely with sales and consulting teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

  • You are known for your attention to detail and strong self-management to meet client expectations.

  • You have plenty of hands-on experience implementing commercial applications using Azure PaaS and/or Power Platform, with integrations to third-party systems.

  • You hold Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified Power Platform Solutions Architect Expert certifications (or could achieve these within your probation period.)

  • You are passionate about delivering results and driving quality in every aspect of your work.

  • You thrive in producing high-quality documentation, including polished diagrams and clear technical writing for various audiences.

  • You are a self-motivated team player who brings energy, enthusiasm, and innovative thinking to client engagements.

  • You have a strong growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in the technology space.

  • You possess a minimum of 7+ years of client-facing or consulting experience.


Experience in the following areas is highly desirable but not essential: 


  • Azure AI Services, Copilot or other LLMs

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, or Project Operations)

  • Power Apps and/or Logic Apps

  • Azure Synapse and/or Data Factory 

  • Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
